The particular routine is taken from the climax of the 2010 annual concert by the dance troupe.
Pungjangnori originated from farmers lavishly celebrating Baekjjungnal(a day off in the summer after weeding the rice paddies for the third time) like butterflies among flowers. The basic format follows Baekjjungnori and the Aminongak while Jangguchum(dance with a janggu or hourglass-shaped drum), Sogochum(dance with sogo or small hand drum) and Durejeolcha(farmers landing each other hands for transplanting seeds and weeding the fields) are adapted for stage performance.
